We celebrate the Teacher’s Day with the top 10 of the best Jedi Masters

Although in recent installments of Star Wars, we all know that the Jedi Masters once ruled the galaxy, and within that story, and even through its decline, there were several teachers who became his padawan at one of the knights most notable who used a lightsaber.

10. Kit Fisto

During the Invasion of Naboo, Yaddle and his fellow council members presented him with the Chosen one, Anakin Skywalker. After the Battle of Naboo, he took a less active role in the affairs of the Jedi Order and no longer was on the Council at the time of the Clone Wars.

7. Mace Windu

The only Jedi to use a lightsaber purple. He was part of the High Jedi Council, and in the War of the Clones his power was decisive to defeat the Federation. Windu was trained in the ways of the Force due to his strong connection with her. To ascend to the rank of Master, he began to be known as the champion of the Jedi Order. Only a betrayal of Anakin Skywalker (A. K. A. Darth Vader) was able to defeat him.

6. Count Dooku

5. Revan

3. Qui-Gon Jinn

A Jedi master, a human, was tasked to train several padawans, including Obi-Wan Kenobi, one of the most important characters of the saga. He was trained by Count Dooku, who later migrated to the dark side. It was considered a kind of rebellious, and constantly defied the Jedi Order.

2. Luke Skywalker

One of the great protagonists of the saga. Then to fight with the rebels in the War against the Empire and restore the order of the Republic, Luke attempted to refound the Jedi order and train a new generation of knights, among which included their three kids -Jacen Solo, Anakin Solo, and Jaina Solo – and the nephew of Chewbacca, Lowbacca.

1. Yoda

The maximum Jedi master. Leader of the High Jedi Council, and appointed Grand Master, he was wise and skilled in combat. He was a master of Count Dooku and Luke Skywalker. He was defeated by Darth Sidious during the fall of the Republic and sentenced to exile on the planet Dagobah.
