First of all Why peel the potatoes? They peel has a lot of nutritional value and doesn’t change the taste. The important thing is to make sure it is clean first. But whenever we are talking about nice plates Dressing well this might be a requirment also to have some great mashed potatos peeled the easy way.
You might be using many other different ways to peel your potatos. We suggest in the alustrations showed here above to leave using the peel knife for the potatos and go for the way we show into the next image number 2
In this method it is about Take a sharp knife and score the skin around the middle of each potato (don’t cut too deeply), making sure both ends of the score connect. You can either just put it this way for your self: The knive should just go as deep as the Potato Skin is and it will do the Magic Trick later on. So for now Start boiling some water up to 20 minutes with the amount of potatos you want to use that where skin precutted. After this you should be able to just remove the potato skin very easy. On tip here aswell Remove the Hot water and add Coldwater and leave it for a few seconds and it should be enough for you to save your hands from any climate change on your hands or even get low burned. Also some say to reuse the heated water where the potatos laid, I would not recommend to do this, by boiling the potatos with the skin some dirt might come out and it wont be great to reuse this water back into the peeled potatos to keep them warm. Well actualy it can be up to your own standards on how good you have cleaned the potato skin before.
