Huawei presents Degree to 20-series and smartwatch

Today, Huawei in London two new smartphones presented: the Huawei Mate 20 and the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. Also appears there is a new smartwatch: Huawei GT.

The Mate series from Huawei’s (in addition to the P-series) one of the two large smartphoneseries of Huawei. Huawei Mate smartphones are known for the great (screen)size, powerful specs and good camera. That also seems to be the case at the Level 20 range, which consists of the Degree 20 Pro, Level 20 and Level 20 Lite, of which the latter is already in september, came out.

Degree 20 Pro

The most powerful and impressive smartphone is, of course, the Degree 20 Pro. The smartphone is on, thanks to its massive QHD oled display of 6.4 inches, with a scherminkeping and screen ratio of 19.5 to 9 are used to the size within the limits. On the back fall the three cameras, which in a typical square block. The triple camera consists of an ordinary lens (40 megapixel), a wide-angle lens 20-megapixel and a zoom lens of 8 megapixel.

That is about 1,000 mAh more than the most topsmartphones. The 128GB storage memory can be expanded with a memory card, but not the memory card that you are used to. Only Huawei’s own NM-memory cards, which is about the same size as a nano-sim card fit in to the Extent 20-smartphones.

Huawei Mate 20

The Extent 20 is slightly less comprehensive than the Pro variant. The unit is even a little slightly bigger, thanks to a 6.5-inch (Full HD) lcd screen. The teardrop scherminkeping is a lot more subtle. Also, there is in contrast to the Pro-variant, the housing has room for a headphones port.

On the back of the Level 20 is a finger print scanner. This is not, therefore, in the display processing. The three lenses in the rear are also slightly less impressive: a 12 megapixellens, a 16-megapixel wide-angle lens and an 8 megapixel zoom lens.

Internally, it is also a bit stripped. Although the same Kirin 980 chipset on board, this smartphone is 4GB ram, and slightly less battery capacity: 4.000 mAh. It can’t be wirelessly charged, in contrast to the Degree 20 Pro.

Huawei Watch GT

Most notable is the new smartwatch from Huawei: the Huawei Watch GT. GT is for Gran Turismo, because these cars are known for their luxurious feel and performance. The Huawei Watch is the GT comes in two models: the Huawei Watch GT Sport and Hauwei Watch Classic. Especially the battery life would be impressive must be of the smartwatch and about two weeks go on a battery charge.


The Huawei Degree 20 Degree 20 Pro from 2 november, available in the colors blue, black and a combination of both. The smartphones cost, respectively, 799 and 999 euro. The Huawei Watch is the GT Sport is from October 23, available for 199 euros. The Classic version is from the same day available for 229 euros.
