In a document distributed exclusively to suppliers, Apple reported an issue in which the iPhone 7 and 7 plus might stop used to make calls.
According to the portal McRumors, who obtained a copy of the notice that gave the company its distributors, the problem is due to a defect in the microphone of these devices, which silences and prevents your partner listen to you when you call on some devices with version 11.3 and later of iOS.
And not only that, but the same fault would cause the speaker button to appear disabled and in gray color for calls, video calls, Facetime and other functions that can be used.
But all is not lost, because as announced by Apple to its suppliers, such failure could have a remedy in some cases.
If you have a iPhone 7 or 7 plus, and you have already started to experience problems, it is recommended that you turn off the audio options connected to the Bluetooth of your phone and take it to a authorized dealer to make a diagnostic of audio specialist; if the result is that the accessory may not be supported by the system, or that there was not found the port, we are afraid to tell you that you’re going to need that repair.
Users who have warranty don’t need to worry, but in the case of those who do, Apple has announced that it is willing to perform the repair at no cost to the customer, but has not been reported officially in their platforms.
