Surface Go: Microsoft is launched to compete with the iPad cheaper

Microsoft has officially unveiled Surface Go, the tablet is smaller, lighter, and more economic” range to Surface until the moment, according to the company said in a statement. Surface Go has a weight 521 grams and 8.3 mm thick with a screen PixelSense 10-inch and aspect ratio 3:2, designed for use together with the Surface Pen, a stylus with up to 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity that allows you to take notes, draw and design.

The screen has been designed so that in its vertical mode display pages to the scale of the majority of school books, while landscape mode shows the pages as a paperback book, with one on each side.

The device mounts an Intel Pentium processor Gold 4415Y seventh generation, with a battery life of up to nine hours of battery life and a fanless design. Microsoft reported that Surface Go integrated ergonomic keyboard and trackpad precision, although there is also the possibility of connecting the new Surface Mobile Mouse, a mouse-adapted to the device.

Surface Go can be used in different modes thanks to the foot support that incorporates the hinge of friction that extends up to 165 degrees, which offers the possibility of switching from the tablet mode to the study mode according to the user’s needs.

This tablet has camera Windows Hello, which lets you log in through facial recognition, in addition to a port Surface Connect for charging, USB-C 3.1, port headphone jack and a microSD card reader to expand the storage.

The version of Surface Go with wifi will be available for booking from this Tuesday in several countries, including Spain, to a starting price of $ 399, and will hit the market on the 2nd of August. The model LTE device will be launched during the coming months, although Microsoft has not given the exact date.
