How do I make a stereogram?

The esteroegramas were invented by Bela Julesz in 1959. His idea was to test the ability of the people to see three dimensions. Julesz was generating an image with uniform spots, created at random in their distribution. Then selected a circular area of dots within the picture and walked a bit, thus generating a second image.
