Xiaomi presents the arrival at Spanish market of your laptop My Laptop Air 13.3-inch

Xiaomi has announced on Tuesday the arrival in Spain of your laptop My Laptop Air 13.3-inch, with keyboard adapted to Spanish, and the latest generation of Intel Core processors.

My Laptop Air features a design “minimalist” that dispenses with the logo engraved on its aluminum surface, as explained by the director of the Globalization of Product, Eduardo Garin, in a press conference held this Wednesday in Madrid.

The laptop arrives in Spain with the keyboard adapted to the Spanish-speaking market –has the letter ‘Ñ’-. Is backlit and features black keys, for ease of reading in low-light conditions.

This device incorporates a four-core processor Intel Kaby Lake Refresh Core i5-8250U to 3.4 GHz and GPU NVIDIA GeForce MX150 and video memory of 2GB GDDR5. Integrates a RAM memory of 8GB DRR4 and internal storage of 256GB SSD Pcie, though the company has included a slot for SSD to expand the storage.

The screen of My Laptop, Air, 13.3-inch and Full HD resolution, occupies 80% of the front, since it presents a framework of 5.59 mm. This reinforced with Corning Gorilla Glass.

The laptop is focused on mobility, as pointed out by Garin. In this sense, the computer has a weight of 1.3 kilograms, with the idea, in addition, the user can lift the screen with one hand. Includes 2 USB 3.0 ports, a USB port type C, an HDMI port, a port jack 3,5 mm.

The battery power of 40W that integrates this device offers an autonomy of up to 9.5 hours, and load up to 50% in 30 minutes with the quick charge system. It also presents a cooling system based on a fan with metal vanes, and, as for the sound, dual speakers AKG system with Dolby Premium Audio.

My Laptop Air works with Windows 10 and is available at a price of 899 euros from the Wednesday, June 27, at authorized retailers My Store.

Presence in Spain

Xiaomi came officially to the Spanish market seven months ago, as pointed out by Garin during his speech. The company of chinese origin has been located as the third brand of ‘smartphones’ in the country, which continued its expansion through Europe in France and Italy, at the end of may.

The company has an ecosystem itself, My Ecosystem, which, in addition to technological products, includes “technological solutions to the day-to-day”, as stated by the responsible of Globalization of Product.

This ecosystem started to operate in 2014 and currently has more than 90 “business ecosystem”, as has been explained Garin, and more than a hundred million products connected to it around the world.
