So are the new Points Google Play with which you will receive a credit to purchase what you want

Some days ago I had commented on a new role in that I was working with Google, and with that I wanted to encourage users to make purchases in the Play Store to change of loyalty points that would grant benefits to these users, good, as the service is already official, and it is called Points Google Play or Google Play Points.

Google Play Points has been released today in Japan, and it is currently the only country where you can use the service, however, we know that there are plans of expansion to the rest of the world, but for the moment, we do not know when it will be coming to America and Europe.

As mentioned, once you sign up to the program on Google Play Points you’ll be rewarded with points after you buy apps or games, make purchases in-app (i.e., to buy items within apps and games that participate in the program), subscribe to applications and games, purchase books, music and movies.

Google Play Games could have your own news section

As we see, is a program of loyalty points as that manage banks or department stores, where depending on the points you gather will be the benefits that we get.

Levels for points

With Google Play Points you’ll be able to achieve different levels depending on the points they collect, and are to be distributed in the following way:

Bronze level (up to 249 points):

  • 1 point for every 100 yen spent

Silver level (250 to 999 points):

  • 1.25 points for every 100 yen spent
  • 1 credit of 300 yen for purchases in apps
  • 1 movie rental 100 yen

Gold level (1000 to 3999 points):

  • 1.5 points for every 100 yen spent
  • 1 credit of 300 yen for purchases in apps
  • 1 movie rental 100 yen
  • 2 credits of 500 yen to buy books

Platinum level (4000-14999 points):

  • 1.75 points for every 100 yen spent
  • 1 credit of 300 yen for purchases in apps
  • 4 movie rentals 100 yen
  • 4 credits of 500 yen to buy books

Diamond level (over 15,000 points):

  • 2 points for every 100 yen spent
  • 2 credits of 300 yen for purchases in apps
  • 5 movie rentals 100 yen
  • 6 credits of 500 yen to buy books

As we can see, the bronze level is the lowest, and in no way gives us benefits, but from the silver level is where we will be able to get credit to buy apps and rent movies, while the highest level gives you credit to buy apps, rent movies and buy books.

ESET found more than 30 apps fake on the Google Play Store

In the case of Japan, each 100 yen of purchase are equal to one point, at bronze level, and as we go forward will give us more points for every 100 yen spent. To give an idea, 100 yen are about 17 mexican pesos.

It is important to mention that these points can only be use for one year after they are obtained, so that in case you do not use them, because we’ll lose it.
