How to use the App of Google Translator even without Internet

Our globalized world and permanently connected to the network requires tools to facilitate our daily tasks and others that are not so. That is why, to this world of languages interconnected Google created the app from Google Translator, that translates languages, mainly from English to Spanish.

One of the great advantages of this tool is that it works perfectly without Internet, the only thing you have to do is download the desired language to our phone and ready, will always be available.

The first thing to do is to download the app from Apple App Store or Google Play. When you open it immediately and ask you if you want to download the native language of where the open, for example, Spanish for the people of Latin america.

The file weighs 30 mb, and occupies a lot of time to download to the cell phone, so we recommend count with a WiFi connection that does not consume your data.

It’s so easy in principle, but what I want to translate into other languages? No problem, Google Translator has a number of options available, you just have to make sure you have space on your device and a good wifi connection to download them.

To do this simply follow these steps:

  • Select any of the 57 languages available to download to your phone.

The application also has languages for Voice Input in the Settings menu, but these are more complicated because they come with variants by region or country, for example, british English, or English in India; or Spanish from Mexico and Spanish from Argentina.
