Route planner Tyre stops with Google Maps integration

The Dutch creators behind the veteran route planner Tyre are currently working to implement a new kaartendienst. The integration with Maps is not working anymore, because of a controversial decision of Google.

Tyre is a route planner which is not so much running as soon as possible from a to b, but to the formulation of journeys along a variety of fun stops in between. Google Maps was lying there for years on the basis. The provision of Maps for developers, however, now has become more expensive. Therefore, it is now working on an alternative.

Switch on MyRoute

Users are in the meantime advised to migrate to the free MyRoute-app, from the same creators. There continues to navigate via Google Maps is an option, but also maps from TomTom and Garmin are part of it. Additional features are fee accessible.
