Telefónica Business Solutions, a subsidiary of communications solutions and integrated digital services for companies in the telecommunications group, has reached a strategic partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to provide cloud services to companies and organizations with the aim to accelerate the adoption of cloud services and drive their digital transformation.
In a statement, Telefónica explains that this agreement provides for the inclusion of the AWS portfolio of cloud services, which will allow you to offer a “comprehensive portfolio of services, innovative and competitive” that facilitate the adoption of cloud services to their clients in their process of digital transformation.
To this end, Telefónica highlights staffed with specialists trained and certified in services and best practices from AWS, while Amazon will have dedicated resources to give support to the operator and their customers.
In addition, Telefónica added that it also uses AWS in their systems of Information Technology (IT) internal to give support to the digital services that are offered to the customers, an experience that you can share with businesses to help them “accelerate their innovation.”
On the other hand, the company also reports that it has created a Centre of Excellence in Cloud within Telefónica in Spain, which will use ‘Well-Architected Framework’ AWS and the best practices recommended by the AWS for “a secure service infrastructure is scalable and able to exploit the full potential of based services in the cloud”.
The director of EMEA partners and alliances at Amazon Web Services, Niko Mykkanen, has been “excited” to be working with Telefónica, as the service providers are playing “an important role in driving innovation and the creation of value for organizations”. For its part, the global director for Products and Services of Telefonica B2B, Hugo de los Santos, has pointed out that AWS, “with his extensive and specialized range of cloud services, as well as its international presence, is a piece that fits perfectly” in your offer.
